Italian agent Federico Pastorello admits Lazio's move for River Plate goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo remains at a stand-still.

Carrizo wants to join Lazio in January, but nothing will happen until he gains a European passport.

Pastorello said: "We are still waiting for the documents. If they arrive in January then everything will work out as planned, otherwise we will think about a six-month loan at another European club before hopefully arriving at Lazio in June."
