Inter Milan striker Hernan Crespo would be open to a move to Roma. "Roma and Inter haven't yet spoken about Crespo and Roma haven't contacted me either," noted representative Fernando Hidalgo.

"We'll only evaluate the situation in January when the window reopens with Inter, Hernan and his family."

Roma need a striker given the constant injury problems plaguing Francesco Totti and Crespo's wife may prove to be a decisive factor.

"She is from Rome, but that doesn't automatically push Crespo towards the Giallorossi," added Hidalgo. "The two clubs must reach an agreement first."
