The agent of Rennes fullback Erik Edman admits a return to the Premiership could be on.
Edman spent a year at Spurs and the highlight was a 40-yard strike which hit the back of the net in a draw with Liverpool at Anfield.
Reading will be interested if they lose England international Nicky Shorey in the transfer window while Wigan have yet to replace Leighton Baines.
Edman's agent Roger Ljung revealed: "We don't exclude anything. We haven't talked [with Rennes] lately. We will see what happens. In January, we can start negotiating with other clubs."
