The agent of PSV Eindhoven star Kevin Strootman has acknowledged the interest of bigger clubs. Manchester United have watched the Holland international over 20 times this season as manager Sir Alex Ferguson plans an £18 million summer bid for the midfield powerhouse.

His agent, Chiel Dekker, told Voetbal International: "It is true that several big European clubs have Kevin in their sights. That makes sense for a player of his calibre.

"There is still no concrete interest. There has been no one approach us and nor PSV."
