Everton appear set for a clear run at Galatasaray attacker Bruma.
Both Everton and Sunderland have been linked with the exciting, young talent.
But agent Marco Kirdemir told the Sunderland Echo: "No, I have not spoken with anyone at Sunderland since January this year.
"They wanted Bruma on loan, but then there was the surprise of the injury.
"Obviously there has been a change with Sunderland's recruitment since then (the departure of ex-director of football Roberto De Fanti) so I don't know whether they are still interested."
Kirdemir added: "He has not played as much as he wants under Prandelli, so if a Premier League team can agree a deal with Galatasaray, then it's something he would definitely be interested in."
