The agent of Atletico Madrid winger Nico Gaitan admits a move away is likely for January.
Jose Iribarren says Gaitan is eager to quit Atletico for regular football in order to catch the eye of Argentina coach Jorge Sampaoli ahead of the World Cup.
Gaitan has been linked with Tottenham and Manchester United in the past and Iribarren admits there is English interest.
He told Foot Mercato: "I can tell you that English clubs are interested. As for French clubs, I have not been contacted. But that would not be a problem!
"If this is an interesting club, Nico would have no problem playing in France, by the way..."
Iribarren also said: "The club could not give him a lot of playing time and make him understand that he is important. Nicolas needs to feel important to turn at full speed. Each player works differently."
