Former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has agreed personal terms with Manchester City, it has been revealed. Italian agent Nicola Giuliani, speaking on BBC Radio, insists Guardiola has reached a "preliminary agreement" with City for next season, reports Sport.
Guardiola is close to former Barca chiefs Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain, who have both joined City in recent months, and is eager to work with them again.
The problem for the Spanish trio is manager Roberto Mancini has his feet well under the table at the Etihad, where he is sitting on a contract to 2017.
