Manchester City are in talks with Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo. Montolivo has a year left on his Viola deal and rejected the chance to open new contract talks.
La Nazione says Montolivo's agent, Giovanni Branchini, was in London yesterday and met with City manager Roberto Mancini.
Branchini is hopeful of seeing City strike terms with Fiorentina over a €15 million fee. A swap involving Aleksandr Kolarov has also been mooted.
