Football insiders expect Davide Santon to remain with Inter Milan.

The Italy World Cup hopeful has been linked with a loan move to Lazio.

"There is absolutely no truth in it, nor has there ever been anything in the works with Lazio," assured FIFA agent Renzo Contratto on Sky Sport Italia.

"Many clubs would like to have Santon in their squad, but I sincerely doubt that the Nerazzurri want to release the player."
