Stipe Pletikosa's agent says the player will not go on trial at Celtic despite manager Neil Lennon indicating otherwise.
The Hoops boss said yesterday that the 32-year old Croatian goalkeeper would link up with the Glasgow giants on Monday for training but his representative, Marko Naletilic, says it is a medical to ascertain the extent of a knee injury and not a test of his ability.
"If Stipe was having to go to Celtic on trial then he would not be going. He is going to undertake a long medical visit," he said about the former Spartak Moscow man.
"Celtic want to check his knee because he hasn't played for a long time.
"It's about his fitness rather than his ability. He is 32 and has won 82 caps for his country.
"With all respect, at the stage of his career right now, he would not go on trial to Real Madrid."
