The agent of Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto'o says the Cameroon ace could still have achieved plenty with Barcelona.
Jose Maria Mesalles said: "Samuel could have still done much for Barca.
"We now know who made the decision to dispense with Samuel Eto'o. It was a technical decision we did not share, but we respect.
"It's been a difficult summer.
"What was clear is that FC Barcelona did not want the player, that's clear. The misunderstandings are over. What we could not have was the double talk, publicly stating that they wanted him and then saying otherwise."
