The agent of departing Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon has opened the door to a move to West Ham.

Buffon announced on Thursday he would leave Juve at the end of this season.

Silvano Martina, the 40 year-old's agent, told The Sun: “I don't know if it will be a total farewell to football. He wants two weeks to talk to his family and come to a decision.

"In England, he always really admired West Ham supporters, and even wrote about it in his book."

Martina added: "I can't name names specifically out of respect for Gigi [Buffon].

"He asked me not to mention specific clubs, but he does love England."
