The agent of Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon has cooled fresh speculation of a summer move to Manchester City.

Tuttosport says City are ready to revive their bid for Buffon, despite the form of current No1 Shay Given.

The Bianconeri No 1 is currently out injured and rumors regarding a potential move have been spreading in recent weeks.

"There is no way Buffon will be leaving Juventus for City," claimed agent Silvano Martina. "These links are pure speculations. And Buffon himself is irritated by them."
