Pedro Obiang is not leaving West Ham United for Napoli this month.
The Italian midfielder has made just eight starts for the Hammers since joining from Sampdoria in the summer and as a result has been linked with a return to Serie A with league leaders Napoli apparently showing interest.
However, the 23-year-old's agent Jose Miguel Gonzalez has made it clear that nothing of the sort will occur during the January transfer window.
"Napoli are very strong, doing well in the league and are looking for reinforcements in midfield," Gonzalez told Tutto Mercato.
"Obiang would be perfect for their needs, but I have not received any calls from Napoli.
"He is unlikely to leave West Ham in January. The club want to keep hold of him, he is happy in London and happy with his team-mates."
