The agent of Fiorentina defender Alessandro Gamberini insists he's not on his way to Bayern Munich.

"I can say that there has been no contact with Bayern and I actually heard the rumour from you for the first time," agent Francesco Romano told Tuttomercatoweb.it.

"There is nothing to report, but of course it is flattering to hear that such a club are interested in my client.

"To reiterate, Alessandro is happy in Florence and his future is there.

"How is Gamberini's Azzurri adventure going? I spoke to him briefly, but we will talk properly after he gets back. I can say that it has been a great experience and we are obviously hoping that Italy get through."
