The agent of Roma midfielder Matteo Brighi says he is capable of making a big splash for Italy this season.

"Brighi has excellent awareness and he is very tactically adept," Vanni Puzzolo told Romanews.eu.

"I think the Coach is starting to understand that playing Brighi isn't such a risk because I still think he is underrated by the Giallorossi.

"Sooner or later everyone will realise how good he is. I think Luciano Spalletti does have great trust in him or he would have allowed him to leave in the summer.

"Furthermore I don't think it would have been a mistake for Marcello Lippi to call Brighi up the national side and he should have an Azzurri future."
