Inter Milan are set to lose Ricky Alvarez in January.

Alvarez was jeered by supporters at San Siro when limping off 30 minutes into Saturday's 1-1 draw with Genoa.

"I certainly did not expect these difficulties, because he arrived in Italy at the right time," agent Filippo Colasanto told Il Sussidiario.

"He wasn't too young or too old and he certainly has quality. Perhaps the club does not have faith in him, but it must also be said Inter are a demanding side."
