The agent of Panathinaikos midfielder Gilberto Silva has cooled talk of a move to Liverpool.
The Brazilian holding midfielder would be an ideal replacement for Javier Mascherano, who seems set to leave Anfield this summer, but the player's agent has played down a move.
"Gilberto is very happy in Greece," said his representative Frank Trimboli.
"Gilberto always wants to play at the highest level and Panathinaikos can offer him the chance to play in the Champions League."
