The agent of Valencia winger Joaquin has played down talk of a move to Blackburn Rovers.

"The future of Joaquin is to be at Valencia as he is a Valencia player and has a contract with the club," Eduardo Espejo told Las Provincias.

"But if an offer arrives that the club is interested in, Joaquin will have to listen, and also vice-versa.

"However, he came to Valencia with a wage ceiling and a big dream, which continues, and hopefully he still has the fans' affection.

"People have been unjust with Joaquin. He is not only interested in money because if he was he would now be in England or Italy."
