The agent of Christian Fuchs has played down links with Barcelona.

The Schalke fullback has been linked with Barca as a replacement for Eric Abidal.

"I've heard nothing and I cannot imagine [it's true]," the player's representative Thomas Bohm told Kurier.

"But it says a lot about Christian's strengths that he is being mentioned in a major newspaper from Barcelona as a candidate [to succeed Abidal]."
