Talk of a move to Barcelona for Newcastle United fullback Jose Enrique has been played down.

The Spaniard is interesting Barca.

But Salvador Sanchez, Enrique's representative, told TheVanguardia.com: "We know nothing but what has emerged in the press."

Liverpool have also been linked with the Spanish defender, who joined the Magpies from Villarreal in 2007.
