The agent of Everton defender Johnny Heitinga has cooled talk of a return to Ajax.
The Holland international is expected to be sold by Everton this summer and has been linked with Ajax.
"There has been no contact between us and Ajax about a return of Heitinga to succeed (Toby) Alderweireld," said agent Rob Jansen.
