The agent of Tigre fullback Lucas Orban has explained delays over a potential move to Sunderland.

Filippo Colasanto has confirmed an offer from Sunderland was tabled.

"There was the offer from Sunderland, who made a concrete proposal at the right time, making an offer to the player's family. We talked about it, but the boy prefers to take his time at the moment and maybe finish the championship in Argentina and then choose with confidence," said Colasanto to TMW. "He is very strong, perfect for the English league."
