The agent of Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne has revealed he turned down a move to Sunderland this summer.
Fabio Andreotti confirmed Sunderland made an attempt for Insigne.
"The Sunderland rumour is true," Andreotti stated. "But Lorenzo wants to stay here, even if it means earning less money.
"We have clear ideas and he wants to stay. However, there have been clubs with enough courage to ask Napoli about his asking price."
