The agent of FC Basel winger Xherdan Shaqiri has confirmed talks with AS Roma.
Shaqiri has been one of the stars at this month's U21 Euros.
"We have spoken to Roma director Walter Sabatini," agent Ulisse Savini told ForzaRoma.info.
"At the moment we are just at the level of a chat, but there is definitely interest from Roma. Sabatini knows Shaqiri very well and recently enquired after him.
"I believe his price-tag is between 6m and 10m, depending on what Basel ask for. As we told Sabatini during our chat, Shaqiri is enthusiastic about a club like Roma.
"He wants to feel the giddy heights of a top side and Roma have all the characteristics he is looking for."
