Mats Daehli's agent has confirmed the Norwegian teen has signed pro forms with Manchester United.

The 17-year-old has impressed the coaches at Carrington enough to be rewarded with a new deal with the champions.

"He signed the contract on his birthday today," his agent Jim Solbakken confirmed to VG.

"He said it felt terrific and there are no doubts he deserved it."
