The agent of Bologna midfielder Amadou Diawara has confirmed contact with Aston Villa.

Villa have reportedly offered €17 million for the young midfielder this week.

Daniele Paraino told Sportitalia: "The offer of Aston Villa? It's true.

"But he still continues to do everything for Bologna, he has nothing to do with it."

Along with Villa, Roma and Napoli are also chasing Diawara this month.
