The agent of Daylon Claasen is confident the midfielder will impress this week in Everton trials.
Claasen plays for Belgian side Lierse but is out of contract in the summer with other English clubs also showing interest.
His agent Ivan Modia said: "He is a player very similar to Steven Pienaar, Ajax Amsterdam's school. He has been labelled as his successor in the national team.
"A very good technical player who was No 1 in ball recovery in Belgium last season due to his work-rate. He'd suit perfectly to Everton and he'd definitely be a steal coming on a free transfer."
