Jonas Gutierrez's agent claims his client is ignoring rumours of interest from other clubs, and is happy to stay at Newcastle. Reports have suggested that the Argentina international is attracting interest from Serie A giants Lazio.

Gutierrez, who can operate at right-back or on either wing, was believed to be among the many names on their hit list, despite having a long-term contract at Newcastle.

"Jonas is a Newcastle player and still has three years left on his contract," Pedro Jimenez Bravo told lalaziosiamonoi.it.

"He players at Newcastle and is a currently in the Argentina national side.

"No-one at Lazio has contacted me. A move to Italy in the future? At the moment he is only thinking about his current club."
