Chelsea fullback Ashley Cole is in talks with Real Madrid and Barcelona. The Daily Mail says Cole's agent has flown to Spain with a view to speaking to Real Madrid about a possible move for the Chelsea defender.

The 31-year-old's contract ends this summer and, like Blues and England team-mate Frank Lampard, he has been told by Chelsea's hierarchy he will not be offered another.

Cole has set his sights on a Spanish swansong with Real Madrid or Barcelona despite interest from cash-rich Paris St Germain.
