The agent of Liverpool striker Fabio Borini admits his first season at Anfield has been "wretched".
The Italian is now recovering from shoulder surgery.
Marco De Marchi told TMW: "It 's true, a year punctuated by two serious injuries. Two incidents in both shoulders have kept him out for six months. Additionally, he played for a month and a half with a broken foot.
"He, however, is a boy with a hard shell and will not go down.
"He's now working even harder to get back ahead of the season finale. He wants to play the final games with Liverpool and then be ready for the U21 Euros. He's working to recover, then it will be the coach to decide whether to select him or not. "
