The agent of Napoli attacking midfielder Ezequiel Lavezzi has backed his client to make Argentina's World Cup squad.

Lavezzi is returning to his best form.

"He needs to remain calm, but he can do it," explained Alejandro Mazzoni. "Argentina has many world-class strikers, and there is a lot of competition.

"As long as he does his best for Napoli over the last four matches, he should be going to South Africa. It is both a dream for him and for his team.

"Lavezzi has grown into a great player, and is very good tactically and technically."
