The agent of Didier Drogba has moved to ease tension between the Chelsea striker and Champions League opponents Benfica.

Its been suggested Drogba's celebrations after victory over Napoli were a show of disrespect towards Benfica.

But Thierno Seydi told Record: "Drogba and I never knew this video had been released in Portugal. I've talked to him about it and I can guarantee that Drogba has much respect for Benfica.

"If it had happened with any other team in the draw I'm sure he would have the same reaction. People must not confuse joy with lack of respect."
