Agent of Arsenal's Rosicky dismisses Inter Milan interest

The agent of Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has played down talk of a January move to Inter Milan.

Inter enquired about Rosicky's availability during the summer when they were touting Brazilian striker Adriano to various Premier League clubs.

The Serie A leaders wanted Adriano to go out on loan to Arsenal and exchange him for Rosicky, who they have targeted as an eventual replacement for Luis Figo.

That offer was rejected but the Italians hope Wenger could be persuaded by another bid for a player who has been hampered by hamstring, groin, thigh and ankle injuries during his spell in London.

But Rosicky's agent, Pavel Paska, said: "Inter wanted Tomas two years ago, but could he move there this winter? No, that is absolutely untrue."

Arsenal paid Borussia Dortmund £6.8m for Rosicky in May 2006 and would expect to make a profit on the 27-year-old.
