The agent of Alberto Aquilani is adamant the midfielder remains "a Liverpool player".

Aquilani is understood to be the subject of a £7 million offer from Fiorentina.

But Franco Zavaglia told TMW: "There's not much to say, in the sense that as long as nobody tells us anything it is needless to say even that he could leave.

"Faced with an offer? So, I repeat, Alberto Aquilani is back at Liverpool and is a Liverpool player."
