Agent angry over treatment of AC Milan striker Ibrahimovic

The agent of Zlatan Ibrahimovic has jumped to the AC Milan striker's defence.

Ibrahimovic received his second red card in as many games last weekend and has been suspended for another three matches pending appeal.

"They're doing everything to make sure he plays as little as possible," Mino Raiola said. "It's normal for him to say that referees have it in for him.

"He made one challenge in the entire game and was given a yellow card for it. It was ridiculous and shameful."

Asked about Ibrahimovic's future, Raiola said: "The referees have nothing to do with it. There is no belly-ache on Ibra's part, he'll stay in red and black.

"The question of the referees is different. He is an important player. When they do something against him it makes the news.

"Against Fiorentina, they almost all kicked Ibra and nothing happened. Then Zlatan intervened, argued with himself and was sent off.

"There are two weights and two measures."
