The agent of Amauri says the striker will stay with Palermo until the end of this season.

Mariano Grimaldi said: "This is a player who is doing extraordinary things at Palermo and obviously it is a source of pride to represent him as a footballer.

"Amauri should remain in Palermo until June, but the demands of the market are many and I will speak with the club to consider the developments.

"Amauri needs to join a great team and I confirm that his assessment hovers around £17 million."
