The agent of Palermo striker Amauri says the Brazilian will stay with the Sicilians until the end of the season.

Mariano Grimaldi said: "Certainly Amauri will remain with Palermo until June. His goal is to take his team into the Champions League, although I know that it will be a difficult task considering the quality of the teams in Italy.

"For his future, I can say that we are considering tentative enquiries that we've received from an elite club and we are proud of this.

"The bureaucratic procedure to make him Italian was launched, but I do not know how long it will take."
