Wigan Athletic winger Luis Antonio Valencia would jump at the chance of joining Real Madrid, says his agent, Diego Herrera.

"It would be a dream for Antonio if Madrid came calling, a beautiful opportunity," Herrera told AS.

"(But) until now there has been nothing official. I don't want to say anything until we have official word from someone like (Predrag) Mijatovic or (Carlos) Bucer.

"I understand that Madrid wants to close the signing in the first week of January. We will see what happens in the coming days."
