The agent of Stuttgart striker Mario Gomez says he'd welcome a move to Roma.

"It's true that the Giallorossi are chasing him," Maurizio Gaudino told Romanews.eu. "Mario has a contract with Stuttgart until 2012, but we will make a decision after the European Championships and Italy does have a special charm.

"Of course he is flattered by their interest as Roma are a great club who are going far in the Champions League.

"Mario is also a big fan of Francesco Totti and to play alongside him would be a dream.

"It is an honour to know they are watching him, but he has a number of suitors. Whether a move happens or not depends a lot on whether Stuttgart qualify for next season's UEFA Cup."
