The agent of Schalke 04 midfielder Ivan Rakitic is aware of fresh interest from Inter Milan.

The exciting Croatia international is again in the sights of Inter ahead of the summer market.

Michel Urscheler, Rakitic's agent, has not ruled out a future for his client with the Nerazzurri. He told calcionews24.com: "Rakitic has a contract with Schalke 04 until 2011 and at present there is no dialogue for a renewal or for a transfer.

"Everything has been postponed until next June.

"It must be said, however, that if he fails to reach the goal of Schalke qualifying for the Champions League, then it will be difficult for him to stay. He wants to be part of a great team and Inter is just that ..."
