The agent of Michael Essien admits the Chelsea midfielder has held talks with Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho is chasing the Ghana international.
"Michael will stay at Chelsea where he has four more years of contract," agent Fabien Piveteau told France Football.
"He's alright in a beautiful city and at a very good club."
Piveteau did admit though that Essien spoke with Mourinho.
"He spoke with Mourinho on the phone, but that's because they know each other, and the Portuguese wanted him at Chelsea."
