Premier League clubs are circling Dinamo Zagreb for defender Sime Vrsaljko.
The talented centre-half is rated highly by Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini and technical chief Mike Rigg, while Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has also had scouts watch the youngster regularly over the last 12 months.
Vrsaljko's agent, Nikky Vuksan, admits he is fielding regular enquiries from English clubs and concedes the defender would struggle to resist the right offer if tabled.
"He is still young and knows he needs to develop so staying at Dinamo is not something he regrets, but when a big club comes calling for you it is always a tremendous challenge for anyone."Vuksan, who counts Tottenham pair Luka Modric and Vedran Corluka among his clients, told tribalfootball.com: "Yes there is constant contact for Vrsaljko not only with Premiership clubs but others as well.
