The agent of Domenico Berardi has confirmed that there has been a lot of interest in his client from a host of clubs.

Sassuolo striker Berardi has emerged as one of the most promising young strikers in Europe over the past few seasons and it has been no surprise to see the 21-year-old attracting the interest from a host of top clubs.

The likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan were said to be in the race to sign Berardi and now agent, Simone Seghedoni, has fuelled speculation by admitting that his client is being courted by a number of sides in Italy as well as from abroad.

Seghedoni told FCInterNews: "To clarify: Domenico is a player owned by Sassuolo, who he has a contract with until 2019.

"When the time comes to decide the lad's future we'll see, nothing is decided. We can say that many teams, both Italian and foreign, are moving for Berardi."
