The agent of Chelsea striker Fabio Borini says a move to Parma is close to being settled.
Borini is off contract in June at Chelsea.
"The transfer isn't official just yet, but I can confirm that we're in advanced talks with the Gialloblu. There has also been interest from Roma and Lazio in the past couple of months, but Parma were the most concrete," said agent Marco De Marchi to Radio Mana Mana.
"Despite Carlo Ancelotti's insistence to sign a new deal with Chelsea, we were unable to reach an agreement about a contract extension. Fabio then decided to consider his options and started looking for a new club.
"Fabio needs to play at a club where he feels at home and where he gets the chance to flourish. A club with a plan for the future and Parma appears to be the perfect club for him at the moment."
