Agent admits offering Zaragoza's Ayala to Lazio

The agent of Real Zaragoza defender Roberto Ayala admits they've made contact with Lazio president Claudio Lotito.

Claudio Anellucci revealed: "The player is physically intact, full of personality, has done well wherever he's gone and among others Diego Maradona is trying to convince him to return to the national team.

"Ayala to Lazio is an idea myself and his entourage have put forward to Lotito. There is nothing concrete as yet, but we will seek a meeting to explore this idea."
