The agent of Dan Gosling admts his future at Newcasatle United is in doubt.

Gosling, who has been hounded with various injuries since joining the club in 2010, played just a handful of times last term.

David Hodgson told the Evening Chronicle: "I think what he needs to do is play football.

"He knows he has to win everyone over. He needs to play at the beginning of the season in somebody's starting line-up.

"Is that going to be at Newcastle? I don't think so.

"He has a mountain to climb but he is not giving up.

"He does not want to leave. He has loved every minute of it at Newcastle."
