Napoli interest in PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman has been confirmed.

Strootman has impressed for Holland at this month's U21 Euros.

"Napoli's interest in Kevin is serious and PSV confirmed this development to us over the last few days," his representatives told Voetbal International.

"As things stand, the player is totally concentrated on doing well at the European Under-21 Championship for his country.

"Only after that tournament has concluded will he think about his future."
