The agent of new Galatasaray signing Bruma admits Manchester United were keen on the Portuguese superkid.

Sporting Lisbon sold Bruma to Gala last week, though were quick to rubbish claims from agents that United had failed with a superior bid.

Speaking with Record, Bruma's prime advisor, Catio Balde, did not claim United had tabled an offer for the teen, but admitted they were interested.

Balde said: "Many clubs were waiting in the shade for the outcome (of Bruma's contract dispute). They were hoping Sporting would lose and could move for Bruma on more favourable terms."
