Republic of Ireland coach Giovanni Trapattoni is keen on leading Nigeria in this year's World Cup.

Trapattoni's agent, Domenico Ricci, has revealed he's already turned down an approach from Ivory Coast.

"He rejected an offer from the Ivory Coast a week ago because they offered him only the World Cup," said Ricci. "I believe he is more interested in Nigeria, than the Ivory Coast."
